Yamocuno Tanama Yucayeke Taino and Ku Karey Spiritual Circle, Inc. are very proud and pleased to announce the Honorees for the First Taino Awards celebrated on Saturday March 28, 2009 at the Famous Nuyorican Poets Café 236 E. 6th St. in N.Y.C.
The beautiful MC and hostess for this historical event was Caridad La Bruja “Kachianao” De La Luz.

Despite some minor disappointments the event was beautiful and filled with excitement.

Join Kacike Marie Maweiaru and Yamocuno Tanama Yucayeke Taino and Ku Karey Spiritual Circle, Inc. members at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center located at 130 West Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, New York as they greet the new season. Bring your maracas, guamos, mayohuacan, guiros and hand drums.
We will gather on the third floor of the Main building room 3D-22 back at 1:30 p.m.
